DALE, Texas — A man has been arrested in connection with a homicide in Caldwell County last month.
According to the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a residence in the 400 block of Mustang Meadow Run in Dale around 1 a.m. on Sept. 25.
After arriving on the scene, they found a man dead, the sheriff’s office said.
On Oct. 21, deputies arrested 34-year-old Jody Lee Ramos in connection with the case. He is currently in the Caldwell County Jail on a $1 million bond.
Investigators say it was an isolated incident and there is no further threat to the public.
