Cellphone video captures fist fight, hit-and-run in Northeast Austin

According to police, officers haven't made any arrests.

AUSTIN, Texas — Austin drivers see a lot of things on the road. But in northeast Austin Tuesday afternoon, they got an eyeful.

Cellphone video captured a fight between two shirtless men on the sidewalk near East Rundberg Lane and the north I-35 frontage road.

According to one of the men involved in the brawl -- who did not want to speak on camera or let KVUE use his name -- it began when the driver of a white van hit the back of a black Cadillac on Woodhaven Drive, about a mile away.

From there, the driver and passenger of the Cadillac followed the van onto Rundberg Lane, where the fist fight began. But, it didn't end there.

"Oh, s***! Holy s***," the man who shot the cellphone video can be heard saying, as the driver of the van rams into the passenger side of the Cadillac.

The driver of the van eventually took off. A spokesperson with Austin police told KVUE the case is under investigation.

No arrests have been made.
