TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — People could soon call the Circuit of the Americas home.
According to the Austin Business Journal, executives at COTA have started a major rezoning effort to develop land around the track. It would include a hotel, condo towers -- with helipads -- a water park, indoor sports facilities, restaurants and more. The company would seek long-term tenants to sign leases to run projects surrounding the track, Austin Business Journal said.
Executives hope to start building in the next one to five years.
