CEDAR PARK, Texas — Last week, the Cedar Park City Council voted to get rid of late fees at libraries throughout the city.
The fees used to range between 25 cents to two dollars a day, depending on the item checked out.
While this covers the late fees, you will still have to pay for lost, unreturned and damaged items.
Cedar Park joins a list of other Central Texas cities that have gotten rid of overdue fees, including Georgetown and Pflugerville.
