AUSTIN — Many Austinites are well aware of the rising cost of living in Austin, but the website gobankingrates.com released a study recently showing how high the cost of living has actually risen.
The cost of living went up more than 33-percent from last year to this year and it costs greater than $18-thousand more now to live comfortably in Austin.
The biggest cost increase was seen in rent prices, but the study found things like food costs and health care have also gone up in Austin.
