SPICEWOOD, Texas — Three adults and three children were transported to various hospitals Monday morning after a two-vehicle crash not far from Hamilton Pool in Spicewood, Texas.
According to a social media post from Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS), the crash happened just before 3:30 a.m. on State Highway 71 at Cypress Ranch, heading westbound.
Two adults were taken to St. David's South for critical injuries, one adult was taken to Dell Seton for non-severe injuries and three children were transported to Dell Children's with non-life-threatening injuries, according to ATCEMS.
The highway was temporarily closed to traffic, but as of as of 7 a.m. Monday, westbound lanes have reopened. Drivers heading eastbound can only travel in one lane.
