A deadly accident in Georgetown killed one Wednesday morning. It happened on Shell Road near Williams Drive around 7 a.m.
Police say two men were inside the vehicle traveling at a high speed when he lost control. The car crashed through a fence, clipped a stone support pillar, and then crashed into a house on Boquilla Trail in the Heritage Oaks subdivision.
The passenger, 19-year-old Hasan Matten, died at the scene.
The driver, 20-year-old Daniel Browne Kincaid, was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
No one inside the home was injured.
