LAGO VISTA, Texas — An elderly woman was found dead inside her home Thursday morning after a house fire in Lago Vista, according to Travis County officials.
Officials said they received a call at about 6:28 a.m. for a residential fire on 26915 Ranch Road 1431. The call reportedly indicated that someone was still inside the house.
When crews arrived, a 78-year-old woman was found dead inside.
The cause of the woman's death and the cause of the fire are still being investigated.
