AUSTIN — A former Austin Independent School District bus driver has been found guilty of inappropriately touching a 6-year-old girl back in 2015, KVUE's media partners at the Austin American-Statesman reported.
Sixty-four-year-old Leon Young pleaded not guilty and has denied the claims. A jury, however, found Young guilty Friday of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child by contact, according to the Statesman.
According to the Statesman, Young repeatedly denied the accusations during an interview with police, but at one point he suggested he might have touched the girl if he thought he could have gotten away with it.
Young was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
