FORT WORTH, Texas — A North Texas resident turned a $50 scratch-off lottery ticket into a $5 million prize, officials announced Tuesday.

The winner, who is from Haslet but is remaining anonymous, bought the winning ticket from Mighty Convenience, located at 13075 Saginaw Boulevard in far north Fort Worth. The ticket was part of the Texas Lottery's $5 million Ultimate scratch-off game, according to lottery officials.

The game offers four $5 million winners, but only one so far has been claimed. While the number of top winners is limited to four, the game will have 258 winners who take home $10,000, 145 of which have been claimed so far.
