Center to help teens, young adults recover from addiction opening in San Marcos

The center is dedicated to helping 13- to 21-year-olds recover from addiction.

SAN MARCOS, Texas — A new center aimed at helping teenagers and young adults recover from addiction is opening in San Marcos on Jan. 30. 

Meant to help 13- to 21-year-olds recover from addiction in a safe space, the Cenikor San Marcos treatment center is located at 1901 Dutton Drive just off of Interstate 35.

The center will feature support groups, volunteer opportunities and academic and employment resources. In addition to adult and adolescent outpatient services, the center also offers a pregnant and post-partum intervention program.

This San Marcos location is one of many Cenikor locations throughout Texas and Louisiana. 

"We are committed to helping people with alcohol and drug addiction as well as behavioral health issues through a full continuum of care," Cenikor stated on its website.
