Threatening fliers posted by alleged President-elect supporters are circulating around Texas State University campus, and according to university officials, police there are investigating.

In an email sent to KVUE from Texas State faculty Wednesday, a flier including a long letter was attached.

At the start of the flier, there is a photo of people holding guns underneath the words, "Texas State Vigilantes." Alongside the photo, the flier says it's "time to organize tar & feather VIGILANTE SQUADS and go arrest & torture those deviant university leaders spouting off all this Diversity Garbage."

Here is a copy of the flier that was sent to KVUE (WARNING: The comments in the flier are offensive):

In an email sent from the university's Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion to members, the fliers "have been reported to University Police Department, who are working closely with the Office of Vice President for Student Affairs (VPSA) and Dean of Students (DOS)."

The email states that if students "encounter any of these individuals, we ask you to NOT engage them, and to walk away and report them to University Police Department by calling 911 or 512-245-8336."

According to KVUE's news partners at the Austin American-Statesman, police will give more information later in the day Thursday.
