AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department (APD) is investigating a double homicide Monday morning in southeast Austin.
A man and a woman in their 20s were found dead by police in the parking lot of an apartment complex in southeast Austin, according to police.
According to a social media post from APD, the shooting happened at 7:30 a.m. on the 1800 block of Burton Dr.
Police did not release any suspect information and said that they are still interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage.
Police also did not say what led to the shooting.
APD says it is the 51st and 52nd homicide this year in Austin.
