TEXAS -- As tensions rise surrounding a new border patrol policy called "zero tolerance," the pressure for new legislation to mend the problem grows as well.
An official from the Department of Homeland Security told reporters Friday that about 2,000 children have been separated from 1,940 adults from April 19 to May 31. This has sparked outrage by many individuals including political leaders and celebrities.
