AUSTIN – Investigators have ruled the cause of a fire at a home overlooking Lake Travis on Sunday as "undetermined."
The Lake Travis Fire Department said they were called to a home along Lakeview Drive shortly before 4:30 p.m. Sunday. LTFD added the homeowner was with a neighbor when the fire broke out.
Investigators said the fire burned too quickly to be able to have a clear determination of the cause, but there was nothing to believe the fire would be anything more than an accident.
Damage at the home is estimated around $100,000, including contents.
Smoke from the fire was visible by residents in Volente.
