WILLIAMSON COUNTY — Crispin Harmel, who was accused of murdering 27-year-old Jessika Kalaher in September of 2009, was found guilty by the jury Tuesday evening, according to KVUE media partner, The Austin American Statesman.
Harmel was sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole, according to prosecutor Julie Stone.
According to police, Harmel allegedly abducted Kalaher from a Wal-Mart, raped her and strangled her to death in Cedar Park.

Harmel's original trial ended in a mistrial after the prosecution allegedly withheld evidence. The State Bar of Texas also put Former District Attorney Jana Duty was put in jail fail for violating a gag order involving Harmel's case.
