Police searching for 2 suspects in North Austin robbery that left man unconscious

AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department is investigating after a man was brutally assaulted and left unconscious during a robbery in North Austin last year.

The incident happened around 4:43 a.m. on Oct. 14, 2023, in the 800 block of Ken Street, off North Lamar Boulevard and just north of West Rundberg Lane.

Police are searching for two suspects and a vehicle they say was involved in the incident.

The victim’s personal items were taken from him, and both suspects left the scene heading south on North Lamar Boulevard.

The first suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall to 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a slender body type. He was last seen wearing a white “Lazy J Ranch” brand hat, a button-down shirt and blue jeans with brown cowboy boots.

The second suspect is described as a white or Hispanic woman in her 20s or 30s, approximately 5 feet, 2 inches tall to 5 feet, 5 inches tall with an average body type. She was last seen wearing a green long-sleeve crop top, a black skirt and white high heels.

The pair allegedly fled in a 2014 to 2018 model beige Chevrolet Silverado.
