'It's really nothing' | Larry David announces new tour with his only Texas show coming to Austin

The comedy legend added 10 fall shows to his tour that will also feature a mystery moderator.

AUSTIN, Texas — "It will be a total waste of your time."

That's how "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star Larry David announced his new tour ahead of the HBO show's series finale.

Following several live events in the spring, David announced "A Conversation With Larry David" will hit 10 cities this fall, with his only stop in Texas scheduled for Austin.

The show is expected to be an informal discussion about David's time on "Seinfeld" and "Curb" along with everything else in between. Shows will also feature a mystery moderator.

When is David coming to Austin?

The tour kicks off in Denver on Friday, Sept. 20, but Austinites will have to wait until December to hear from the comedy legend.

David will be in Austin on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at the Bass Concert Hall on the University of Texas at Austin campus.

When do tickets go on sale?

Presale tickets begin Thursday, Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. local time. You can use the code "PRETTYGOOD" to secure tickets before they go on sale to the general public on Friday, Sept. 13 at 10 a.m.

There will also be a "Pretty Pretty Pretty Good" package available featuring a reserved ticket in the first 15 rows, a Larry David long-sleeve tour shirt, a Larry David dad hat, a key tray, key chain, bottle opener, and commemorative laminate and lanyard.

Those attending the show must be 16 years or older. Tickets will be available through the Texas Performing Arts website.

Who will be the mystery moderator?

According to Variety, past moderators have been comedian Marc Maron, MSNBC's Ari Melber, and sportswriter Bill Simmons.

NFL legend Peyton Manning will moderate David's show in Denver, but no moderator has been announced yet for Austin. We just hope it's someone "alright, alright, alright."
