AUSTIN -- It's the end of an era. Every last Toys 'R' Us store will close once and for all Friday, and Geoffrey the Giraffe will clock out of his last shift ever.

As their stores close, many people have shared the memories they made at Toys 'R' Us. One woman shared the memorable experience she had as she took her last shopping trip at a Toys 'R' Us here in Austin.

Stephanie Moore shared on Facebook that she was the last customer ever to shop at the Toys 'R' Us located at 4025 South Capital of Texas Highway.

In her post, Moore wrote, "It's so bittersweet because I spent my childhood circling my wishlist of toys in the holiday catalog and thinking this store was the best thing on earth."

Moore told KVUE about how much of a treat it was to walk the aisles at Toys 'R' Us, but that it hurts knowing today's kids won't get to experience it.

"Now that I have my own child -- Hudson, my 15-month-old son -- it’s heartbreaking to know he’ll never experience what it means to be a 'Toys 'R' Us Kid,'" said Moore.

Moore added, "The truth is, I don’t want to grow up, I’m a Toys 'R' Us Kid.” I think we can all agree with her on that one.

During her last trip, Moore purchased hundreds of cards for a total of $3 and said she plans on donating them to charity.

Before Moore said farewell to Toys 'R' Us forever, she got a photo with some of the store's employees.
