LEANDER, Texas — Police have confirmed that a man has been killed in a crash in Leander.
Leander police said a driver hit and killed a pedestrian.
Police received a call that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle at 7:14 p.m.
According to Leander police, 65-year-old Maxey Bass, was walking south on Crystal Falls Parkway at Southwest Drive in Leander he tried crossing an area that was not marked as a cross walk and was not well lit. Police said this was when a 2005 Pontiac hit him.
The driver stopped and cooperated.
There is no suspicion of foul play, police said.
Crystal Falls Parkway was reopened at 10:18 pm.
