AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department (APD) is investigating a homicide that happened in northeast Austin on Wednesday night.
The incident happened in the 9600 block of Middle Fiskville Road, near East Rundberg Lane and Interstate 35, APD said in a social media post at approximately 10:45 p.m.
In a media briefing at 12:35 a.m. Thursday, APD stated first responders found a man in his 30s who was injured at the Villas De La Plaza apartment complex.
Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS) arrived on scene and attempted to save the man, but he died on the premises.
No arrests have been made, but police say there is currently no threat to the public.
