TEXAS, USA — The search for a missing girl now involves Texas and several other states.

According to the Hall County Sheriff's Office in Georgia, 12-year-old Maria Gomez-Perez was last seen May 30 in her driveway, wearing a bright blue shirt.

The sheriff's office, FBI, Department of Homeland Security and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation have utilized drones, translators, crime scene investigators and more in an ongoing effort to find the 12-year-old.

In recent weeks, authorities say tips have slowed down, but that they've expanded their search to include Texas, Alabama, South Carolina, Maryland, Florida, Illinois and Tennessee. The renewed efforts to find Gomez-Perez include a new banner in hopes of bringing her home and an increased reward.

Authorities also said evidence collected from search and digital evidence has "provided hope for a break in the case and continue to be the best investigative resource thus far."

Gomez-Perez's father told KVUE's sister station, WXIA, that he wants his daughter to return home. He said he can't live without her.

Authorities say Gomez-Perez has brown eyes and long black hair. She's 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs between 100 and 110 pounds.

A $50,000 reward is available to help find Gomez-Perez. Anyone with information should contact 911 or Hall County authorities at 770-503-3232.
