LLANO COUNTY, Texas — An investigation is underway after the body of a missing woman was found in Central Texas.
According to the Llano County Sheriff's Office, the body of 57-year-old Tammy Snow was found in a wooded area off Country Road 321 on March 16.
Snow visited Long's Fish & Dig near the Llano River on March 12. According to the sheriff's office, she was spotted traveling on CR 321 before driving off the roadway and into a heavily wooded area.
A few hours later, people camping near Snow saw her walking on CR 321. She reportedly left behind all of her belongings at the campsite, along with her two dogs. On March 15, authorities started searching for Snow using drones and ATVs.
The sheriff's office found Snow's body on March 16 in a wooded area near CR 321. An investigation into how she died is now underway. Meanwhile, her two dogs were taken to a nearby animal shelter after they were found in good condition.
