AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department (APD) said an elderly woman who went missing on Wednesday morning has been found safe and well.
According to APD, the 76-year-old woman went missing around 3:45 a.m. on Oct. 30 after last being seen at the Double Tree Hotel-Arboretum, located at 8901 Business Park Drive in northwest Austin.
There were concerns for her safety because she has Alzheimer's disease and is sometimes nonverbal. In an update around 2:30 p.m., APD said she was located and is safe.
