MUSTANG RIDGE, Texas — Two people are dead after a crash involving three vehicles southeast of Austin on Friday night.
According to the Mustang Ridge Police Department, the crash happened around 7:43 p.m. in the 19300 block of Camino Real (State Highway 21) in Mustang Ridge.
Officers arrived on the scene within minutes and began providing aid, but two victims were pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
The crash is currently under investigation.
Crews with Travis County Fire Rescue, Caldwell County fire, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office, Texas DPS, the Travis County Sheriff’s Office and Austin-Travis County EMS all responded to the scene.
