3 residents injured after apartment catches fire in North Austin

The extent of the residents' injuries is unknown.

AUSTIN, Texas — Three residents were injured after an apartment complex in North Austin caught fire Wednesday night.

According to the Austin Fire Department (AFD), crews responded to a fire at the Avalon Palm apartment complex in the 9100 block of Northgate Blvd, with one unit heavily damaged. Before 10 p.m., AFD said crews were working to prevent the fire from spreading to the attic and the roof of the complex.

Three residents were injured in the fire, according to AFD, and were being treated by Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS). The extent of the injuries is currently unknown.
