AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police are searching for a person of interest in a hit-and-run crash that left an elderly man seriously injured.
It happened on Sept. 24, 2023, at the intersection of Ohlen Road and Research Boulevard southbound in North Austin around 7 p.m.
Police say 20-year-old Nilson Isaac Perez Gomez is a person of interest in the case. He is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s and approximately 160 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Austin Police Department at 512-974-5789 or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest.
