MANOR, Texas — One person is dead and another is injured after a crash early Wednesday morning in Manor.
At roughly 2:30 a.m., the Manor Police Department said a white sprinter van and a small sedan were heading westbound on U.S. 290 and Greenbury Drive when the Sedan was rear-ended at the intersection.
The sedan allegedly crashed into a ditch along the highway. Its driver, a 59-year-old man, was pronounced dead on scene.
Manor police said the 22-year-old driver of the sprinter van was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
No one was arrested, but the investigation continues. The Manor Police Department's Victim Service Unit is working to contact next of kin.
U.S. 290 and Greenbury Drive were temporary closed to traffic following the crash, but both roadways have since been reopened.
