BURNET COUNTY, Texas -- One driver has died in a crash with an 18-wheeler outside of a shopping center in Burnet County, Texas Department of Public Safety reports.
According to DPS, the deceased driver was traveling south on U.S. Highway 281 in a 2001 Honda Accord before slowing down to turn into a shopping center. An 18-wheeler driving behind the Honda then crashed into it, killing the person inside the car.
Officials closed the road around the shopping center located near the 7300 block of South U.S. 281 shortly after the crash.
