AUSTIN, Texas — A pedestrian is dead after they were hit and killed by a vehicle on East Ben White Boulevard in South Austin early Monday morning.
Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS) said around 6:45 a.m. that an adult patient had been pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on East Ben White, near U.S. 183. ATCEMS medics and Austin Fire Department crews responded to the scene.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and expect extensive traffic delays.
