AUSTIN -- A student at The University of Texas started a petition to replace the Church of Scientology of Texas on Guadalupe near campus with a H-E-B.
The petition reads:
"The Church of Scientology takes up prime real estate on Guadalupe Street that could better service the local community and UT students by replacing it with a HEB."
The petition was started on Tuesday and already has over 580 signatures.
The creator of the petition, a UT sophomore named Abhishek Deb, started the petition as an assignment for his government class, according to his Facebook page.
