State officials arrested and charged seven people, including several tax office employees. They're accused of undervaluing vehicles so that drivers could pay lower state taxes.
For the past few months, only the main office location, on Airport Boulevard in Austin, has been in use. In May, KVUE reported that the temporary closure of the other locations created long wait times for customers at the main office.
The Pflugerville location in the 15000 block of Foothill Farms Loop opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m. Tuesday. The other locations in East and Southeast Austin remain closed for now.
