After leading police on a chase that lasted about 30 minutes Monday night, a man was arrested in northwest Austin.
According to the Austin Police Department, the chase began just after 10 p.m. north of Great Hills Trail near U.S. Route 183. At some point, officers used tire strips to stop the driver, but he continued driving on the vehicle's rims after going through them.
Later APD managed to force the driver to stop at the Main Event Entertainment parking lot just south of Anderson Mill Road.
