Police giving free ice cream to kids who bust a 'cool move' this summer

Examples of "cool moves" include wearing a helmet while riding a bike, crossing at a crosswalk, obeying traffic laws and stopping to look both ways before crossing the street.

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas -- The Pflugerville Police Department is looking out for more than just the average cold-hearted criminals this summer. And this isn't the first time they've done this.

As part of the summer safety campaign "Cool Moves," children caught practicing safety will receive a ticket from PPD, but not the kind of ticket most parents are used to.
