AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police are investigating after two people were found dead in North Austin.
Detectives were called out to an apartment complex on Diehl Trail, near the Apple campus, just after 2 p.m. on Tuesday after a "concerned citizen" asked for a welfare check.
When officers arrived, they found two people dead in what police are calling an isolated incident. Austin-Travis County EMS confirmed medics were called to the scene for two dead adults, but didn't have additional information.
Due to the nature of the investigation, police said no other details will be released at this time. The discovery is being investigated as Austin's 46th homicide of 2024.
