Austin police are looking for a man they said robbed a Wells Fargo Bank in South Austin Wednesday morning.
According to the Austin Police Department, the man walked into the bank located at the westbound service road of Ben White Boulevard at around 10:21 a.m. and demanded money from the teller. Police said the man did not display a weapon and no injuries were reported.
Police released photos of the robber from surveillance video. He is described as a man in his early 20s with red hair and freckles around his eyes. He is about 6 feet tall and has a thin build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt with a small white logo, dark-colored shorts and a black baseball cap.
According to APD, the man may be related to a robbery that happened Monday at Capital One Bank.
This case remains under investigation by APD robbery detectives.
