AUSTIN — Ah, P. Terry's. One of Austin's most beloved burger joints.

From meat eaters to vegetarians alike, Austinites love this fast food staple. But, did you know, even its employees will take a stand for this burger stand?

In fact, one former employee's heartfelt manifesto quickly rose to the top of the Austin subreddit Wednesday morning. In that manifesto, the author doesn't list out all their grievances towards the company, but instead decides to stand up for them -- and its current employees.

"P. Terry’s is [sic] amazing company to work for," writes Reddit user southaustintroll. "Employee Christmas bonuses..interest free loans..they make you a birthday cake every year..and so much more."

They also took a lot of time to give some advice to customers. For instance, have you ever wondered why they ask you so many questions at the speaker box?

“'All the way' can meet different things to different people," writes the Redditor. "Some might assume the burger might automatically come with onions and pickles, but some might not think that..so we always ask..we ask soooo many questions when you order to make sure we get it right. So don’t get annoyed with us."

And, as a courtesy, you might want to give your servers a little more attention once you pull up to the window.

"PUT THE PHONE DOWN! When we give you your items at the window," writes the former employee. "We push out so much food we cannot wait for you to finish your text to hand you your items!"

And if you were wondering about that special sauce...

"Special sauce is nothing like Thousand Island Dressing lol," they write.
