No bomb found after reported threat at Round Rock house

Officers were called to the scene in the 2100 block of Jasmine Path around 8:30 p.m.

ROUND ROCK, Texas — The Round Rock Police Department (RRPD) said an object was determined not to be a bomb after a reported threat at a house on Tuesday night.

Officers were called to the scene in the 2100 block of Jasmine Path around 8:30 p.m.

The Austin Police Department (APD) bomb squad was assisting, RRPD said.

Neighboring houses were evacuated as a precaution. Residents were allowed to return around 11:25 p.m.

"The investigation is ongoing into the origins of the object," RRPD said.
