GATESVILLE, Texas -- A Round Rock man has died in the hospital explosion that rattled a town near Fort Hood on June 25, according to the Gatesville Police Department.
Round Rock resident Filiberto Morales, 36, was one of the construction workers who was working at the Coryell Memorial Hospital when an explosion was reported. Officials said the explosion was caused by a gas leak. Morales was taken to a hospital in Temple where he died from his injuries on June 28, police said. He was an employee with Network Controls.

Morales was the second person to die in the explosion. Michael Bruggman, 44, of Rogers died on the day of the blast. Fifteen people were injured in the accident.
