Following Arvind's death, the Leander High School Band also shared a video on Instagram where members performed in her memory.
"Our hearts go out to you, Rouse Band," the post was captioned.
What happened to Andril Arvind?
On Wednesday, Andril and her parents, 45-year-old Arvind Mani and 42-year-old Pradeepa Arvind died in a crash on U.S. 281 in Lampasas County.
The family was headed to the University of Texas at Dallas to move Andril in for her first year of college to study computer science when they were reportedly hit by a vehicle that lost control.
According to state troopers, the vehicle was driving at a "very high rate of speed" when it skidded into the northbound lane and crashed into the family's SUV, killing everyone involved.
In total, five people died in the crash, including the driver and a passenger inside the oncoming vehicle.
Left behind was Arvind's younger brother, 14-year-old Adiryan Arvind, who could not join his family as he was starting his first day of school.
On Thursday, a family friend created a GoFundMe page to collect donations for Arvind. In the day since it was organized, the page has exceeded its goal of $250,000 and raised more than $690,000.
