After numerous delays and months of waiting, Sacramento's first, and California's second, Cracker Barrel is now open.
The restaurant, located at 1000 Howe Ave., opened at 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20.

The popular eatery has more than 640 locations in 45 states. Along with its day-long breakfast menu, Cracker Barrel is known for its Americana décor and kitchy gift shop.

According to a press release from Cracker Barrel, lunch and dinner options begin at 11 a.m., serving homestyle meals prepared from scratch like chicken n’ dumplins or country fried steak.
The Sacramento location is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
