Schlitterbahn co-owner Jeff Henry was charged with in Johnson County, Kansas earlier this month for hiring someone for sex and possessing drugs, according to online records.
Henry was charged on Oct. 23 in Kansas with possessing methamphetamine and two counts of buying sex and illegally possessing Xanax, according to The Kansas City Star. The crimes occurred in July, The Kansas City Star reported.
The Schlitterbahn co-owner is already facing felony charges for a separate case regarding the death of 10-year-old Caleb Schwab.
Schwab was killed on Aug. 7, 2016, after something went wrong when the child rode on the park's 168-foot-tall Verruckt (German for "insane") water slide.
Henry, who was arrested on March 26 on related charges, allegedly came up with the idea for the water slide, rushing the ride to construction despite "a long list of dangerous design flaws," according to the indictment. He was allegedly motivated by a desire to brag to rival water park owners, an indictment states.
