The weather was clear as many brought devices to capture the raging waters.

The Lower Colorado River Authority opened all four flood gates on Tuesday.

Austin’s Lake Travis reaches highest level in more than 21 years

This is a result of the flooding that happened on the Llano River earlier in the week.

Allyson Mann brought her family.

"Intense, very intense. I saw the Llano River. I saw LBJ Lake on the news, but it's now here," Mann said.

"The amount of water has been unprecedented. We haven't seen this kind of rainfall in many, many years. And just to be able to see this is amazing," said her husband, Harold Mann.

"I think it's just crazy. I mean the water's just really rough. I mean if you fell out here, you would be cut into a lot of pieces," said their daughter, Grace Mann.

The LCRA said it will continue to monitor weather conditions and lake levels at Lake Travis.
