LLANO COUNTY — Deputies have found skull near Buchanan Dam on Wednesday, Llano County officials said.
LCSO said it received a call at approximately 8:08 p.m. on Wednesday Aug. 8 about the skull from a resident in the 600 block of Pebble Drive. According to police, the skull was reportedly believed to be a human one.
County officials were able to recover the skull and secured the scene until daylight.
The Texas Rangers and Texas Department of Public Safety dive team were also called to the scene to assist with the search for additional evidence.
Investigators have interviewed several residents in the area, police said.
