BLANCO COUNTY, Texas — The Department of Public Safety is investigating after a small plane crashed 16 miles south of Horshoe Bay.
Officials said Horhshoe Bay police reported the Cessna plane crash at 8:12 p.m. Friday.
DPS told KVUE there were two people on the plane: a passenger, 34-year-old Jerreza Mariano Chua, and a pilot, 34-year-old Joshua Mariano Chua, both from Newalla, Oklahoma.
It's unclear if there are any injuries at this time.
DPS said the crash was the result of an unknown engine problem.
The crash is being investigated by the FAA.
