AUSTIN — AUSTIN -- A teen boy nearly drowned Saturday afternoon at McKinney Falls State Park, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.
Multiple agencies assisted in the water rescue of the boy, including EMS, Austin Fire, and STAR Flight. Officials responded to the water rescue at approximately 4:19 p.m. Saturday.
Medics performed CPR on the teen boy before STAR Flight transported him to Dell Children's Medical Center.
EMS said in a tweet that the boy's condition was critical and potentially life-threatening.
