MANOR, Texas — A teenager was injured Wednesday night in a Central Texas shooting, according to responders.
The Manor Police Department posted to Facebook saying a 16-year-old male was shot and injured in the leg around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. The incident happened in the city's Presidential Glen subdivision near Andrew Johnson Drive and James Manor Street.
Police say it's unclear what prompted the shooting, and they are investigating further. They also say the victim's injuries are not life threatening and a suspect has since been detained.
Law enforcement said this was an isolated shooting, and there is no known threat to the public at this time.
