MANOR, Texas — A teenager was injured Wednesday night in a Central Texas shooting, according to police.
The Manor Police Department said a 16-year-old male was shot in the leg around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. The incident happened in the city's Presidential Glen subdivision near Andrew Johnson Drive and James Manor Street.
Police say it's unclear what prompted the shooting, and they are investigating further. They also said the victim's injuries are not life-threatening and a suspect has since been detained.
Police said this was an isolated shooting, and there is no known threat to the public at this time.
