Texas Mutual Insurance Company announced Monday that it would move its headquarters to the Mueller community in Austin’s Aldrich Street District in 2018.
The construction of the building will be handled by Catellus Development and once completed the facility will have four-stories and 270,000 square feet of space.
“As we considered new space for our growing team of employees to serve our policyholders, we were looking for a technologically advanced office in central Austin that would support our commitment to health and wellness,” Richard Gergasko, president and CEO of Texas Mutual Insurance Company, said in a statement.
Texas Mutual said it will join Seton Family Health Care and American Institutes of Research at Mueller. A total of 600 jobs will be moved to the new facility.
