Days after University of Texas won the fight against Notre Dame in its first game of the season, there's one photo that is still circulating on social media. And it's not freshman quarterback Shane Buechele or Bevo XV.
It is unclear who took the photo, but plenty seem to be positive that the person captured in it is Abigail Fisher, the woman at the center of the supreme court case, Fisher v. University of Texas. The legal dispute began after UT denied Fisher admission in 2008. The U.S. Supreme Court upheld UT's policy in June.
In the photo is a woman dressed in Longhorn garb in a sea of other burnt-orange-wearing fans. The following image shows the woman in the photo on the left and a photo of Fisher on the right:
As KVUE's partners at the Austin American-Statesman note, there is no confirmation that the woman in the photo is Fisher, that it was taken at the Texas game or that it was even taken at the Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
But the Twitterverse is certain the woman is Fisher and are having some fun with it:
