AUSTIN – Travis County Constable Precinct 2 Sgt. Daniel Johnson confirmed to KVUE that school resource officers are investigating allegations of an inappropriate relationship involving a faculty member of Vandegrift High School.
Johnson told KVUE's Tony Plohetski that the alleged relationship involves a female, but that she is not a student at Vandegrift.
The teacher has been placed on administrative leave, and has been with the district since 2010. KVUE is not naming the teacher because they have not been charged with any crime.
He declined to release additional details from the investigation.
